And families in the poor area where the project is located. This school compound is in the periphery and in a very small village outside of Ukunda and is often forgotten by other supporters. With the choice of location we can ensure more children getting access to an education

Are you a teacher and / or motivated to help and you want to be part of making a difference? Welcome to the Shine Children Project!
As a volunteer you can teach and assist us in the Shine Junior Academy or in other projects. Immerse yourself in a different world with a different culture. We are open for your new ideas.

Our goals
Give Children Education
Unfortunately not all parents can afford to pay the school fees for their children. Especially orphans and single mother children struggle with this issue.
With your individual sponsorship of a child in need you can make it possible for the child to stay in school and lessen the chance of their parents or guardians, unable to pay tuition, keeping them at home.
With only € 25 / $ 28 per month or € 300 / $ 336 a year you can sponsor a child costs which included school fees, food, school material, books and small medical bills.
As an individual sponsor you’ll get monthly exam reports, information to the progress of “your” child as well as pictures.
Especially orphans and children of single mothers can benefit from individual sponsorships and they are very grateful for support and the opportunities the sponsorship provides.

Donations Welcome
With your donation you can help our Shine Junior Academy to realize future plans for the academy and support us with the monthly running costs for the school such as staff salaries, rent for the property, school supplies, food, small hospital bills and maintenance.
Shine Junior Academy is located in a very poor area of Kenya and often the students’ parents are unable to pay the monthly school fees. These students are not sent home because the goal of the project is to do everything possible to keep the children in school and provide them with an education.
Therefore, we rely on donations to continue our work.
